A 1kW core / 1kW ring water-cooled fiber laser delivering an even beam split for spatter-free EV battery welding.
The MFMC 1000/1000M is the entry point into Maxphotonics' Dual Beam Multi Module lineup and its even-split trio (alongside the MFMC 2000/2000M and MFMC 3000/3000M, which also run core=ring), pairing a 1000W core beam (BPP 0.6mm·mrad @14μm) for deep, focused penetration with an equal 1000W ring beam (BPP 4.5mm·mrad @100μm) that spreads heat around the weld pool — reducing spatter and porosity compared with a single-beam laser at the same total power. At 2kW combined core+ring output, it's the smallest model in the Dual Beam Multi Module lineup, which scales up to 8kW on the MFMC 5000/3000M.
It's built for EV battery welding, including battery drive unit welding and battery tab welding. Output is tunable from 10% to 100% of rated power, with a modulation frequency up to 20kHz. It connects via QBH or QD fiber connectors over a 10m cable, integrates into production lines over Digital I/O or ProfiNET, runs on water cooling (distilled water or glycol antifreeze, conductivity ≤40±5μS/cm), draws 6kW from a 360-440VAC three-phase supply, and ships CE certified with a 2-year standard warranty. At 550×1140×760mm and roughly 127kg, it shares its chassis with the rest of the Dual Beam Multi Module lineup.
An even 1:1 split between a 1000W core beam (BPP 0.6mm·mrad) for deep penetration and a 1000W ring beam (BPP 4.5mm·mrad) that spreads heat around the weld — reducing spatter and porosity versus a single-beam laser at the same total power.
At 2kW combined core+ring power, the MFMC 1000/1000M is the smallest model in the Dual Beam Multi Module lineup, which scales up to 8kW on the MFMC 5000/3000M.
Built for battery drive unit welding and battery tab welding — precision joins where spatter and heat-affected zones need to stay minimal.
Connects into existing production lines over Digital I/O or ProfiNET, for integration with automated welding cells.
Water cooling (distilled water or glycol antifreeze, conductivity ≤40±5μS/cm) keeps output stable through sustained CW welding work on a fixed production line.
At roughly 127kg, the MFMC 1000/1000M is the lightest model in the Dual Beam Multi Module lineup, sharing the same 550×1140×760mm chassis as the higher-power models.
