Dual Beam MFMC 1500/2500M Industrial Fiber Laser

The MFMC 1500/2500M is the entry point into the biased-split trio (alongside the MFMC 4000/2000M and MFMC 5000/3000M, which also run core≠ring), with a 1500W core beam (BPP 2.0mm·mrad @50μm) and a larger 2500W ring beam (BPP 19mm·mrad @360μm) — 4kW of combined output, matching the MFMC 2000/2000M's total but biased toward the ring for a wider heat-spread profile around the weld pool.

It's built for EV battery welding, including battery drive unit welding, battery tab welding, and battery FTT anode welding. Output is tunable from 10% to 100% of rated power, with a modulation frequency up to 20kHz. It connects via QBH or QD fiber connectors over a 30m cable, integrates into production lines over Digital I/O or ProfiNET, runs on water cooling (distilled water or glycol antifreeze, conductivity ≤40±5μS/cm), draws 12kW from a 360-440VAC three-phase supply, and ships CE certified with a 2-year standard warranty. At 550×1140×760mm and roughly 215kg, it shares its chassis with the rest of the Dual Beam Multi Module lineup.

Key Features

1500W Core / 2500W Ring Output

A ring-biased split — a 1500W core beam (BPP 2.0mm·mrad) paired with a larger 2500W ring beam (BPP 19mm·mrad) — spreading more heat around the weld pool than an even split at the same total power.

4kW Combined Output, Ring-Biased

At 4kW combined core+ring power, the MFMC 1500/2500M matches the MFMC 2000/2000M's total output, but biases it toward the ring for a wider heat-spread profile — a different weld characteristic at the same overall power.

EV Battery Welding

Built for battery drive unit welding, battery tab welding, and battery FTT anode welding — precision joins where spatter and heat-affected zones need to stay minimal.

Digital I/O / ProfiNET Interface

Connects into existing production lines over Digital I/O or ProfiNET, for integration with automated welding cells.

Water-Cooled for Sustained Output

Water cooling (distilled water or glycol antifreeze, conductivity ≤40±5μS/cm) keeps output stable through sustained CW welding work on a fixed production line.

Widest Ring Beam Quality in the Lineup

At BPP 19mm·mrad (@360μm), the MFMC 1500/2500M's ring beam covers the widest area of any model in the Dual Beam Multi Module lineup.
